null New Camp Cards

http://www.seqbsa.org/images/fundraising/2014_Spring_Camp_Card.png

Many local Councils are now selling Camp Cards and the reports are very encouraging. Leaders and parents find it to be an easy sell and customers recoup their purchase price right away. Each Camp Card sells for $5 and the unit/Scout keeps $2.50 for each card sold. That is a 50% return! Quantities are limited! Our sale will begin March 15, 2014 and will conclude April 30, 2014. For more information please contact Jessie Ruiz at 559-320-2100 ext. 122 or visit our website at www.seqbsa.org.

null  Your Council Leadership

Just as your pack, troop, team, crew or post has a “Key Three” of the top leaders in your unit, so does each of our Districts and the Council. Here is a photo of a recent “Key Six” Meeting with legal counsel Jan Perkins unable to attend, but clockwise are John Richers, CEO/Scout Executive; Steve Royster, Asst. Scout Executive; Richard Schneider, Council Commissioner; Dan Maxfield, VP District Operations and Council President Dave Gilmore. This group meets a few times each month to keep up on current events of the Council and to help guide decisions for the Sequoia Council. We hope your unit continues to have monthly committee meetings for the benefit of your program and your youth. Your “Key Six” is here to support you!
